Do locksmiths carry locks in their vans?

I carry a wide selection of door locks, handles and cylinders including British Standard euro cylinders, mortice, and Yale-type locks on board. If any specialist or unique parts are needed for a job we can order, and will return to fit the part once it’s been delivered


Do you provide insurance approved locks?

Yes – I supply and fit a wide range of insurance approved locks that meet British Standard BS3621, the standard most UK insurers require for external doors. These locks are tested for strength, durability, and security features, including anti-pick, anti-drill, and anti-snap protection.


When should I replace my door locks?

After moving house, losing keys, break-ins, lock malfunctions, or when upgrading security. I would also recommend replacement every 5-7 years for optimal security.


How long does it take a locksmith to show up?

In all emergency locksmith situations, I will respond with efficiency and operate a 60-minute* emergency response time. For non-emergency situations, I can often be with you that day or at a time that is convenient for you.

I use specialised non-destructive entry techniques and tools. Lock manipulation, bump key methods, and picking techniques to preserve your existing lock mechanism.

Yes, I am a uPVC specialist carrying appropriate tools and parts for repairs, replacements, and adjustments to uPVC door and window lock mechanisms.
